Project Join
For my own startup, River, I created “Join”, a concept for a new meeting platform that connects people on the go with their needs and intentions. Ahead of its time, Join combined AI with location and data privacy.
The concept of River is that it is a source of life. Alongside rivers, fauna grows, animals assemble, humans build settlements and bridges. The idea is that River can be a source of many products and platforms, contributing to life and providing a sense of home.
From the start, Join was conceived as a networking platform, not just an application. Join would combine people’s needs in their daily life, with routines, trade, education, knowledge exchange, social life and the beginnings of friendships. Join was meant to become a bridge for what makes us human.
The idea for “Project Join” won first prize at the St. Gallen Startup Weekend, supported by Google.
